DAAS offers the ground school and flight instruction necessary to obtain a variety of ratings.

What does it take to become a pilot?

Federal Aviation Regulation Part 61 itemizes what must be learned, and requires a minimum of 40 hours of training (20 with an instructor and 20 solo) to earn a Private Pilot Certificate. Most people, however, take 60 to 80 hours to earn their certificate. How long it takes depends on how often you fly. For more details visit the Be a Pilot website: Be a Pilot
